Early 90s Cannondale--thoughts?

That pretty much did it.

Who’d have seen TT bars and DT shiftered Cannondales being tarck summer ride 2010?

don’t count out softrides yet
all it would take would be for rusty to score one on cl and shit would be poppin’ off

it’s not just a tarck trend. i’ve seen many 90s cannondales with the bullhorn/flat bar treatment around here.

if i can find the dt shifter mounts for this frame i might try respacing/redishing the rear wheel to 126mm and see if i can make gears work on it and go for horns and dt shifters. otherwise i’m gonna need a whole new frame (if i can’t find dt mounts).

i could think of worse things, especially considering this c-dale i’m using as ss now was one of the cheapest bikes i’ve built.

dude recently tried to sell me a cdale track frame for 700. he called me a dick for saying that mass produced aluminum from 15 years ago is not worth nearly that much.

in terms of quality/performance, definitely not worth 7 bills. but, they are rare, so that’s how much they go for in the current market (a while ago a frameset used to go for 1g).

anyway, here’s my early 90’s cannondale roadie. not really impressive by today’s standards, but i like the stiffness and responsiveness of the frame. perfect for crits; did a couple flat centuries on it as well.

I touched a 1992 Cannondale Track for the first time in my life today. The downtube was way bigger than I ever expected it to be. It felt good. Very good. I think I need one of those.

not any rarer than the cdale road bikes from the same era, which go for around $450 complete.

also, jar of dicks for you sir.
