Beacons feel quite nice! The drop position is so wide and aggro. Hooks are nice for cruising at a clip and the hoods are cozy, I love the flare and rotation there. Still dialing in cockpit fit stuff while I test bars, putting off cutting the donut holder.

Search Light fork folk, how did you handle fishing a lead for the dyno cable? My usual method of bendy wire isn’t working with the segmented fork. Vacuum through a string?

Top down

Or use a brake/shifter cable with a tight end slightly bent/kinked at the end

Thanks!! I had been trying top-down but I think the wire I was using wasn’t quite stiff enough. Finally sacrificed a length of shifter cable to get it through. The slight bend to fish it through the invisible hole between the upper segment and the fork leg was clutch.

How wide a 650B tire will fit on a Coffee Grinder from 2018? I see 50mm on the Endpoint site now, but that is a bigger number than I remember hearing before.

is the yellow/gold flat mount cg i bought from @chazzwazzer the current spec? elephant zona life joint?
i’m fugn stoked it looks awesome and i’m excited to go crash it somewhere

Hmm… that was an FBM frame… soooo PROBABLY 48. But YMMV.

Their Welding May Vary

tbh their welding looks nicer than elephant from what i’ve seen so far in an exceedingly small sample set.

BUT! if reddit has taught me anything it’s that you can’t judge a weld by it’s appearances and i have no doubt in my mind that this elephant frame is totally and fully solid

Hey guys @Andpoint_Endy and @EndpointBraden I was dealing with through axel angst about a year ago and got a new rear axel from y’all I just wrestled the old stripped one out of the rear of my HG (2017 I think Built by FBM)

Old on the left new (from y’all) on the right.
Can you give me any details on what the original one length/pitch is? It is not stamped on the dropout as far as I can see. I’m guessing y’all just did some different dropouts on later rounds of builds.

Gonna just grab a new one from Robert axel but I want to make sure that the info is correct.
