Have you thought about quitting school and spending your inheritance on drugs, alcohol, and a studio apartment in the artsy* part of town?
*artsy = poor, in case you haven’t realized that yet.

i commuted to woek a good portion of the summer. when school started and due to me and my wifes schedule I have to pick up the man child in the afternoon so can’t do the commute thing.
hers the thing I work across the street from school. I leave my bike in the storage room at work and when it’s time for class i hop on the bike ride across the street and through campus to class. This would be a 15min walk(fuck that). The other day it was raining so I decided to drive to class like everyone else. I could not find a parking spot and ended up driving back to work and riding my bike instead.
I felt like a dick for driving to class, riding a bike is so much more practical for around campus.
btw I have seen 1 FG bike around campus. We haven’t had a formal introduction to hipsters yet here in Alabama
dude he’s just trying to keep the scene alive. i love how everyone and their mom has ‘art’ shows that actually suck ass and are devoid of real artistic talent.
That’s what i read at first
i saw some kid riding a conversion. didn’t look like he had brakes, or foot retention. was wearing birkenstocks.
years ago i saw a kid going around campus on his bmx bike, wearing gloves and everything. he had them when he walked out of class, too.
I work with a guy that leaves his pants tucked in his socks all day long. He rides in more often than I do
The mess in 90’s/strong rider crap was only funny the first handful of times.
I don’t get this “fuck walking for 15 minutes” mentality.
Honestly what is wrong with walking 15 minutes?
Wrong.
Still funny.
I used to walk around everywhere with my jeans rolled up. Felt a bit like a douche and I was probably being one, but fuck if I cared.
Now, I wear almost exclusively cut-off jeans.
I can’t figure out which I’m supposed to be more embarrassed about.
walking for 15 minutes to class from the parking lot, walking 15 minutes back. then walking 5-10 minutes from class to class.
iunno after 3 years of that i’m a lil tired of it, and since i have the resources to, why not say fuck it?
it’s also 97 degrees 85% of the time. it’s just boring.
i could technically leave earlier so the 15min won’t matter but i have a class right after my first class 15 min later. I hate being late to class especially because the way the room is designed you’d have to climb over 10 people to get a seat.
and yeah i like riding my bike more than walking . . . . so i’ll ride
Sometimes I forget my right pant leg is rolled up, and walk around forever with it up. That makes me feel a bit ridiculous, but mostly I’m too apathetic about strangers’ opinions of me to get embarrassed about it.
Edit: I hate that now that school is actually started back up all the bike racks around campus are packed, I was digging the summer rack situation where I’d have the whole thing to myself.

This has gotten so bad with me that I just leave 1 pair of pants with one leg rolled up all the time. I honestly am about to cut the leg off.
I feel like a douche for having an all-white tire.

The heat and humidity of Houston makes me dread walking from my air conditioned car to the office. That’s a 100ft walk. It takes 30 seconds. DREAD. IT.

I get bored with bike parts sometimes and want to change too often so its good for me to make myself wait.
Im gonna get a new tire maybe in a few weeks and throw that white tire in the river.
i hope you got a big trunk, cause i’m puttin my BIKE in it.
I just found out that my cousin committed suicide last night and suddenly reading about people putting their bikes in their cars seems pretty unimportant.
