I’ve been happy with my 700x42 Specialized Borough CX Pro tires (on the left in this pic).
Some fatty tires I have

do you have a local trek/specialized dealer as well?
There’s one local 3-location store that’s both a Trek and Spec dealer. None of these tires came from them. The dry-x are from a shop in Bellingham, the XR-1 from Seattle bike swap, the XDX from a used-parts place, and the Borough I got on vacation in Utah no one local had them in stock (order only), and I came a cross a pair on vacation and after feeling them up decided to take them home.
Yo BuffaloBlazedFred, what is the current consensus among 650bros (or just your current opinion) on best 650b tires?
some old tarcketplace thread I saw you compared Pari-Motos to nos russian silk vagina tubulars… still have same opinion?
Yeah, black parimotos are like wizard’s sleeve, baller beyond compare and more than double the volume of a 622x25 Open Evo CX

Jan Heine has had a review pair for a while but hasn’t tried em coz not historical reenactment
speaking as a subscriber, if that’s true it really blows. it’s hypocritical of him to both claim a scientific, performance-based review policy and then not give me information about potentially superior products because of colorway.
Plus he sells Gran Bois, and they just came out with the Lierre that’s this tire’s competition.
We’ve had a few samples for a while now. It’s on the list of products to test, but we are backlogged.
The silver sidewalls are a bit ugly, so I am almost reluctant to mount them on my Singer camping bike (the only 650B bike I have that is designed for tires this narrow) and try them. There should be a test report in one of the next few issues.
Only problem is “next few issues” is 6-9 months, and Jan is always optimistic about when articles and reviews will get published.
He probably also wants to wear out his Lierres first to finish testing those.

I saw those but was worried that 32 wouldn’t give me enough of it.
the pari-motos aren’t crazy fragile, are they?
Ridin’ fat ass tires on teh fargo, but NOT FAST AT ALL cos so sick. Definitely appreciate the cush over them bumps, though.

32 will give you less of it, but would be great for a lot of possible conversions especially on modern short-reach road bikes. The modern Hutchinson construction could be a lot faster, it’s about time there was something not made by Panaracer that wasn’t a like a Marathon or a Nevegal.
Pari-motos will last longer than a race tire, but still only like 2500 miles. There isn’t much rubber there, at some point you just get mystery flats.
They won’t asplode on you though, not at all like a challenge tire where it just begs for flats.
