28mm has become my favorite tire size. So comfy but still gives me fixie cred.
I’ve got the fluted black 650b VO ones, nice fender, black finish looks sharp and all the hardware and stays they include are black.
VO it is.
i will report back with how dissatisfied i am
as is the tarcking way
Seems like VO products are a total hit or miss. Either people hate them with a passion or love them. Rarely do I ever hear a “It’s an okay brand.”
Caps with sweatbands?
The fenders are super solid for the price! Nice rolled edge, ton of hardware for different mounting options. It’s one of the very few things they actually do right. Just wish they made a fucking black fender wider than 52mm (outside width).
Edit: whoops, lol, posted about an old question. Do you mean a cap with the earmuff band thing? I have the rapha jawn and it’s pretty great. Really anything made out of wool will do you good.
The 45nrth merino cap is awesome if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s really warm, I’ve only had one day in Austin that was cold enough to wear it.
I answered my own question but this is what I meant. It’s just the normal material but the band is thick and absorbent. Theyre awesome for heavy sweating

anything headsweats makes?
they are in cincinnati so I have to rep them
I don’t want to derail the running thread, so I’ll ask here: what shoes should I consider to replace my worn-out Merrell Trail Gloves? Sup has an old pair of NB Minimus Trails that she likes, considering the mens version of those. I have a wide forefoot and toes, basically no arch, and occasional supinator. Midfoot striker so zero-drop is OK.
For the run run hike stuff I likes Altra Superior 2.0s.
I never touched a “trail glove” but have wide paddle feets.
What is the Tarck-approved oversized carrying-stuff waterbottle cage?
Are Schwalbe One’s still the 28s I want?
If tubeless, sure. Not too hot on the regular version because sidewalls are super flimsy.
you probably want their replacement “Pro One”
they no longer have different tubeless versions, instead developed a new casing material that replaces the need for a rubber lining
Not tubeless, but was really impressed with the grip/feel of the Ones. Would prefer something available here, so not the dead baby pass or whatever.
now, the dead baby pass would be an awesome tire. it would be a 26", have a tread with broken glass already mixed in, and it would be fireproof.
For actual bottles: Looney bin or Topeak jawn.
The Anything Cage HD is the only Salsa option worth spending on.

Would looney bin hold 1.5L on the mountain bike? Reviews said it’s cheaply made
