Another vote for Phil’s for most anything. I like super light layers of Dumonde Tech on seatpost and stem for assembly.
Never could get that excited about tri-flow except in freewheels, though I do like to dab some behind my ears to smell sexy.

actually, zipp specifically reccomends NOT using phils oil in the hubs as it’s tenacious nature shit builds up pretty easy. Regardless oil in hubs for lyfe

Read about this in some UK maintenance magazine in a bookstore while killing time. Apparently you want a “lighter grease”, and adding oil to the grease in your hubs achieves this. Seems like a bad idea imo, especially when you mix two different types i.e. wet and dry.

Phil for skewers, headsets, bbs, chains, hub pawls and bolt threads. Everything else gets Bike-Aid.

i hate phil.

we use motorex at work, have tubs of it kicking around.
