i’m thinking about just putting the BB back on & selling it with the fucking frame
i’m so frustrated
after the rack fell on my head… i noticed that i already scratched the clear coat. the paint used to be perfect… now it has little scratches everywhere
True on English and Swiss BBs. French and Italian have both cups threaded in the usual way. (Which causes them to always come loose if not locktited)[/quote]

blur is the bb also a sugino 75? if so its english
Tap the tool with a hammer lightly in the direction to tighten it. In this case, counter clockwise. The do the same to loosen it (tap the tool with a hammer clockwise). This sometimes helps it “unfreeze”.
oh… no can do… the tool i bought from Park has a 32mm wrench on one side and a 36mm on the other… so i can fit anything over the end…
i’ve been straining so hard… i am actually stripping the tool
I just had the exact same problem like a week ago with a drive side cup. I really had to whack the shit out of the BB tool with a hammer, but it finally came loose.
I applied framesaver and drilled a drain hole in the BB shell before putting that bike back together (with healthy amounts of grease).
BB cups are notorious for being a bitch if ungreased. sometimes heat will help the metal expand enough to let go of the cup. take it to a shop tomorrow and let them deal with the hassle.
I’ve done this.
And even the dude at the shop had a hell of a time with it. Eventually had to put liquid wrench on it for a few minutes then put the bottom bracket tool in a vice and held the frame!! ha, that was some funny shit. fucking kilo tt isis bb
oh and blur, i’m the highest bidder on your crankset! at my bid i doubt i’ll win but if i do i’ll get a good deal and if i don’t, i’ll help push the auction a little bit!
