Hey, Fookers -- aka, the pedal thread

Motion to word-swap “pedal” with “podcast.”

You’re all wrong.
Podcasts are for sexy times, music is for skinning rabbits, movies are for showering, listening to birds and bees and nature is for pooping.

So we don’t have to be alone with our thoughts, duh

Goddamn wish I could listen to birds and wind as I’m going to bed and not idiots honking. A real spring awakening going on in the most diseased city on the planet right now and it mostly involves really loud engine noises and honking and cement trucks circling the block because why not that’s a thing that is possible on this planet. I will miss you, dear graveyard peace.

Our new life goal is not find a place to live where we can hear birds through an open window at night. Wait, what birds sing at night?

the annoying ones.

yes birds singing at night are highly overrated

if birds singing at night annoy you, then I can send you some audio clips you can loop for ambient noise to change your mind about your predicament.

Mourning doves are the worst for this.

At my mom’s house we usually hear frogs and an owl at night. Sometimes deer and coyotes killing shit

Owls are the only acceptable night bird noise atmo

All of my podcasts are NPR. Or BBC. Which is just NPR with an accent.

Birds woke me up way too early today.

The corners on those are so square, seems like they’d catch on rocks more than most pedals

We’ll see.

eagerly awaiting a comparison to the bontrager plastic

We’ll see if they survive the sup test. The composite iSSi pedals on her bike are sporting several bent pins and multiple cracks.

I’ve been running Diety alloy pedals for a few years. I can’t say they hang up more than any other pedal. If anything, the composite will side more.
