Last night I had a dream that I got a Crosscheck frame to replace my schwinn as a fixed commuter and winter bike. I really want to run studded tires this winter and the schwinn won’t fit em. The Schwinn also has a slightly bent top and downtube from a front end accident and hellacious toe overlap. Jenson usa has the crosscheck frameset for 410. What should I do?
I suppose the worst that could happen is that it’ll come with one of those douchey “this bike is a bike bomb” stickers and then you receive it and it blows up and kills you, I’d rather ride a bent-ass bike than get blown up, y’know?

It isn’t “misty mountain gray” either, it’s actually more of a “primer gray”. I tip my hat to surly’s marketroids for that one. have fun with your crosscheck, I ride mine 100% of the time.
