Tiny fender chat. Options for 20" 60mm fenders seem limited to Velo Orange, buying individual Cascadia ALX fenders from Planet Bike (they don’t sell them as a set), or the SKS Bluemel.
Anything I’m missing that’s worth looking at?
Edit: scratch the Bluemels, doesn’t seem like the tiny 60mm version is available anywhere but Euroland.

Price is good, but holy crap 13 lbs?
Rode the katu to work with light sprinkles. It’s nice. Feels like a well put together bike. Love how solid the basket feels.
Would I want to ride it 20 miles every day? No. Is it great for my 5 mile commute with an earphone in one ear and traffic in the other? Yup.

I got a set of 20in 55m cascadia’s on Q for like $17. The mounting solution is dogshit but once set up they seem fine.
My rapha jacket I wore today in the rain cost more than my bike.
I have a ton of rapha stuff because my two best friends have worked there on and off for years. Standing in an elevator one rainy day I realized I was wearing easily $1200+ of rapha gear. I always wondered if some office dweller bike nerd noticed.
I’ll have to see how turdly or not the stock tires are. That’s a good price, but don’t want to end up buying new tires to fit cheap fenders.

damn, I’m jelly. if I hadn’t just bought a new bike I prob woulda gotten this one. this would have been the cheaper and more practical option… seriously though how that headset work tho
just a big ass threaded headset. there’s probably a funny cover on it with a little o-ring in a groove in the ID that lifts right up and exposes the flats but looks kinda tidy for now
