i’m feeling a bit chapped by how heavy the whole thing is getting but whats another accessory really?

it was just such a cheap POS office chair pole. but was brilliant while it worked. i need a dropper for my clydesdale
How may adapters in that spaghettistack?
just two
out of previous self respect. ive never used an extension so idk if its all of them but this one works with a really long bolt that threads into your headtube’s starnut, which makes a lot of sense. I can’t use that because i’m running this threadless adapter, so i need to put a starnut in the extension itself. losing some strength but will be fine on this bike methinks.
The starnut sounds like it would only be there to hold on the top couple of spacers above the stem. There might be simpler ways of doing that which don’t require setting a star nut (maybe using mild adhesive). You could also just leave the spacers off the top if they’re decorative only…
Who’s the tallest here on a sundeal/katu? At 6’5" I don’t think a minivelo would work for me unless I could score one of Rick Hunter’s personal bikes.
Should I keep daydreaming?
Def just decorative but it’ll drive me nuts to just be an open hole
That’s what you deserve for having that stack and only one set of handlebars.
I’m 6’1" and the extra long post chazzwazzer sourced for the sundeal just barely fits me. It’s a little short, actually, unless I run it a bit above the min insertion line.
Cool, if I wanna go dumb I gotta go custom. NBD. Don’t need more bikes.
yall missed your chance to own my ibis sundeal. this could have been you.
That headset spacer like a hubcap in a steve mcqueen movie
What’s your inseam/PBH/saddle height? I’m 6’0”, but have the legs (and arms) of someone 6’5”-6’6” with 37” PBH. Sundeal didn’t work for me even with a 500mm post (stock was 350mm I think), Katu works great on the stock post with some millimeters to spare.
I’m 6’4” and 3/8ths with stubby legs (35” inseam) and monkey arms (38-39 dress shirt sleeves) and the Katu fits me with room to spare.
Guessing I have almost 5 cm of seat post left to work with and I actually left the bars where the shop set am up. Cockpit feels as spacious as my 29er.
Guess I gotta measure myself. I don’t commit those measurements to memory.
With the amount of prostate pleasure that stack could give you, why even bother getting laid?
Pulled one crank bolt tonight to get an idea of how long the BB spindle is, pretty sure it’s 131mm. Gonna throw a 115mm UN55 in there, that should get the chainline to 44-45mm. Crank specs page says a 116mm spindle for a 45mm chainline, so that seems right.
Or maybe a 122.5 would be better. That should get the chainline to 47-48mm.
Please tell me what kind of nipples I should buy to do this.
