I had a bike almost exactly like this (GT Pro Freestyle Tour) when I was a kid except it had mags instead of spoked wheels. But then I was a dipshit and left it unlocked outside one of the athletic gyms in Olympia and some kid snatched it. Good times.

the hub, or legend bikes? the hub moved, and where the hub was (brook street) is legend bikes now. the new hub is awesome :bear:
Didn’t know that. It was this past summer.

You know the one thing I can’t stand about BMX bikes? Everything just looks low quality on so much of the stuff. 1 piece cranks, heavy steel frames, hard plastic saddles, seat guts seatposts, stamped brake calipers, etc. We tend to use much, much higher quality parts just for riding around town on our track bikes.

edit: I also hate how fit isn’t really taken into consideration. Ever.
If you are talking about oldschool bmx then you are pretty much correct but newer bmx is all 3 piece cranks, pivotal posts, and much better stuff in general, and smart people do take fit into account.

I would argue that tarck bikes are really bmx’ed up track bikes. They are more tarck than tarck.

Is it possible to get normal leg extension on a cruiser like this? It could be rad if it had some really shallow risers to get some saddle to bar drop.

is my modern bmx bike tarck enough? the brake cable is grey and matches the grey pedals, the hubs and rims match and the grips are lavender. also no drive train real drive train because i wanted to try something different for a little bit and got tired of my almost 10 year old, 5+ pound freecoaster rear wheel.

whenever i get money my upgrade priorities are different bars, fork and pegs, not a rear wheel sadly.

explain how that works

the no drive train? i don’t take flatland as seriously as i used to so i just ride to have fun and play with my ability to balance. i ride in my backyard which is too small to really pedal anywhere and i can roll backwards without my cranks spinning. it’s only temporary.

i ride my bmx set up for street/ramps more and obviously have to pedal between spots downtown.

I’ve seen people do that before. IMO, it’s not a bike if you’re not powering it with pedals.

It’s really only…like a bike.

set for life.

this is true. maybe i’ll throw a sprocket and a freewheel on in the near future to try another unusual set up out.

I think the only tarck part of mine is the white chain

i’m so pissed that i can’t figure out what frame that is. is it a bennet?

damn, good call

The smile on your face is priceless.

No shit man, it’s new bike day (I’m guessing, here). To this day I bet you smile like that on new bike day.
