40mi has to burn more calories than those pastries contain. YOLO!
Slightly regretting not joining you for post-ride meal now.
It was good. I almost slipped on their floor several times. That’s also about $15 worth of coffee and pastry.
I hate when this happens (it costing $14) but goddamn I love pastries
You don’t hate it. No one hates it. Except for your wallet. And your waist line.
Squeezed in 20 miles on Christmas Eve before picking up my lady friend at the airport. I converted my grando commuter to bullmoose bars a month or so ago but this is the only picture I have of it right now.
That looks like an excellent bike for dithering.
Where did you get those black bullmoose bars?
Yeah thats basically the ideal rim brake ditherer. Also interested in wide swept black bullmice. Riv?
I got a 58cm gen3 grando coming up for sale in the next month or two (we need to sell it to fund a coffee grinder for sup.)
Accepting applications currently.
Sorry was doing family holidays stuff. Its the Soma/Riv bullmoose made by Nitto.
I wanted silver ones but they were sold out and Riv’s brazed version is more expensive so black it was, but I actually like the black a lot now. Except for fenders which I own just haven’t put on this is going to be my commuter setup.
Yall buy kmcdon’s 3rd gen grando. I really love mine and am planning on riding mine as a commuter into the ground. I’ve done everything from touring, commuting and even a 100 mile mtb race.
Hmm. Selling whole bike or frame/pokes/headset?
Third gen is white with the red decals?
Everything except the saddle and the bags. I can include the tara or I can take it off, and it has different pedals currently.
It’s got a couple paint blems, but no dents. the luxos u comes with it, but it’s got a flicker which makes me think it’s time for warranty #2, SP front hub, grand cru shimano 10sp rear. a23s taped for tubeless, but the rear wheel has a ding in in from a curb (I’ve been riding it 100s of miles since that happened and it’s fine.)
It’s a seriously fun bike but it’s been obsoleted by the day/ruiner. It also has berthoud fenders now.
Did a ride with Roscoe a few days ago. Frozen ground + a new light dusting of snow was perfect riding, with really fun sliding in the corners that weren’t bermed.
I did a holiday ride a week ago and the lights and snowflakes make other trail users smile.
I’m Keen on those bars too.
Rode from Nelson to our accommodation in the Mahau Sound, via the Mangatapu track. A fair bit of walking unfortunately due to the gradient, then a shitty head wind, nice to be out if the traffic tho.
Rooted my back paddle boarding yesterday but the day before I snuck in 41kms including some nice trails.
Went for the first ride of the year (about 20mi) with the kiddo and supwife up the MUP to the farm park. Stopped halfway to look at horses and he started getting upset. Pedaled off and he turned back into a happy camper. We had so much fun.
Nice bike, where’d you get it?
Needs a front rack™
