I went for a ride today and here are some photos

Just a short pavement ride. Only took this picture.

Posting to make Nate have to work for it.

Went for a little spin to the park for a phone call, the poor cell reception in my building has its benefits.

Been thinking aboit a cross check fork, canti studs out back, and a freewheel…

Not much in stock now, and I’m not sure the XL is L enough, but there’s always that cheap On-One SS frame:

Camped on a frozen lake. Evidently I slept through the groomer driving by. Next morning we had the fresh road to ourselves.

I’d correct you and tell you it resembles the Windows XP background but it’s fitting that elder millennials are starting to suffer from cognitive decline and that it’ll be me one day as well

Dusk patrol. My brain does this thing where I get all anxious as daylight fades. Like "cmon we’re losing light, hurry up, go go! " Even though I fully planned to return after dark.

Dawn patrol. Had so much fun last night I went up before work for a different loop. This one has more meadow and was slightly drifted but not enough to stop me. Though one section I redlined just trying to hammer through and not lose momentum(don’t think I could have got restarted).

What’s sad is I googled it to confirm and gis popped up with that background, however I did not click through to see that the page it took the image from is about windows xp.

Win98 was cool and all but I think most of our adolescent computing memories were with XP as it’s what truly overstayed its welcome

Best windows atmo
