Kid did 7 miles of trail on the push bike.
I’m so lucky.
Kid ate it on a new hard trail, cried for 15 seconds then said “I want to try again” and then crushed it.
So cool.

biked to work, to the grocery store, and home.
First time on the bike since I forgot to pedal on the fixie last friday and ended up in the ER with a bum knee. Crutches a week ago, easy spinning gears today. Feels good man.

I did a little guerilla urbanism on my way to work this morning. The ends of this bench stick out way too far and I’ve almost slammed into it countless times coming around that turn a little too hot.

I was a little worried about hitting this step down on a glorified xc bike while I’m dialing the suspension, but of course it was a non issue.

Step down or hack to flat?
It’s not a super steep landing but it is steep enough for the loose dirt to give your shoes trouble if you’re pushing a bike up the landing. It is definitely hard to get a grasp of perspective without like a human in the photo or something.
Zooming in on the uncropped photo might help. Note that my eye level is well below it.
