Managed to claw out the rut I’ve been, get out of bed before noon, and try a new ride route. Rode the Snoqualmie Valley trail from North Bend to Duval and back.
Finished the day with cherry pie from the RR Cafe from Twin Peaks.
Got a bug sting that I think I’m having an allergic reaction to. Off to urgent care I go.

this is the first bike that i’ve owned with pretty much carbon everything, i never knew how good it is.
i mean, dang.
I was out in North Bend this morning, riding that bike park at Torgusen (it sucks).
Annual Gulf Island rambler didn’t disappoint. Lots of seals in the cove again and ferry had double the cycle tourists from last year. NFE on 48s was absolutely flying down the hills and handled the camping load great.
You think I’m going to ride my mtb to the middle of Long Island to ride trails and ride home your nuts.
It’s literally the only driving I do. Not sorry

There was a long period of time in my life where I owned a car that I only ever used to get to the MTB trails as well.
I wish I still had time and energy to drive to the trails.
