Feeling fortunate to have this little singletrack rip 30 min drive from home. It’s my closest proper lap and the trail builders did a great job making a mountain out of a molehill. I even managed to full on 2 wheel roost a catch berm. Yeehaw.
This little one did not want to get off of the road at all. I know the pavement was warm but I really didn’t want it to get smooshed.
It snowed, I rode up and down the street and talked to my neighbor. A tarck century if counting by minutes.
and i bought one of the kits whatever biek’s name is posted. i love walking my bike around the lowe’s
One of our state rec areas has an active sand mine way on the south end of it. The state has let the mountain bike association build trails around the fenced off area, and they call it The Badlands. It’s our only all season all weather trail, thanks to the sand. Given the snow and subsequent thaw we decided to ride here. Conditions were perfect, especially on a plus or fat bike. We ended up riding about 10 miles / 500’ of elevation, which is almost all of it in the Badlands. Since it’s all grassy dunes there’s lots of little bonus lines that we didn’t hit since it was dark. But it’s so nice to have this zone, even if it’s 50 minutes away.
I really love riding to anywhere else
The dentist?
i’ll fight you
The ride to work is the best part of my work day, by far.
It’s been chilly too, must feel good getting out around sunrise
Same, but putting the kids to bed is a close second
We got 2” of snow last night, and even though it’s not full on groomer weather it’s still really nice to get into the silent snowy woods. We got first tracks on the trail (save for 1 hiker before us). These guys tried to bail on the session to ride their trainers because of the windchill (only like 6° get over it boys) but I bullied them into riding and much fun was had.
Lotta late night rides happening lately
Pics from the last two nights
Winter’s alway a struggle
Grateful for low-traffic roads and a real chill pace
I ignored it and it went away
kinda scary but I’m happy for you
