wfh this week keeps on giving but I also work 2 min from a bunch of trails so just gotta start bringing my mtb to work for sunset rides. This is also like the 5th iteration of this bike and I think it’ll stay this way

Finally got back out to North Carolina this morning.

I’ve got a new damper in my Lyrik and am riding my shock with a bit different setup as well. The damper has made a huge improvement with support on the front end. The bike feels better than it ever has before. Had some hero dirt on a 4 minute flow descent and took 30 seconds off of my PR.

This bridge connects the two sides of the park but got taken out by Helene. Looks like there’s new concrete footings so maybe it will be back open soon!

Another urban trails outing. Not a bad day.

SLO County is beautiful!

It was 38 freedom degrees at the start and I have lost all acclimation to cold weather. Almost bailed 30 minutes in but glad I didn’t.

Made an eastern garter snake very upset by shooing it off of the middle of the trail:

Got damn it felt good to get out in shorts and a t-shirt on some not insanely soft dirt. Also this tire combo is mental and I’m smitten.
