edit: tbh I think it due to the origins of wheeled xc travel–US policy likely sees mtb as dirt-bike-lite while euros see them as more durable/capable velos, so the former results in more hostility from the onset
Well… none of these trails have like designations… they are just “trails”. We’ve ridden a lot of beautiful jank.
bikes have been banned in BLM wilderness forever, but the path to legalization isn’t any easier without a national e-bike regulatory framework. I’m on the lobby’s side when it comes to surron kids ripping through the woods.
