Everybody I know was doing cool shit for the long weekend so I figured I should do some cool shit too. Was gonna ride up to Chequamegon-Nicolet Nat’l Forest over 3 days to meet up with some friends and camp for a night, then I figured I should yolo up to Lake Superior while I was so close, then I figured I should do it in 2 days so I could say I did my first 600k. Took my sweet time, burned a few hours watching fireworks and drinking beers, rode lots of gravel, ate real food, made it in 39:57
