Never bothered to unpack my camping gear, partied till dawn and then was the lucky pierre in a bropile enjoying some visuals
In the morning I rode out to the olympics with a friend to meet his wife and 11-month old child to go backpacking, my job was to carry all the beer. The plan was to watch the fireworks across the sound from Marmot Pass but it got socked in and started to rain when we got alpine despite the rainshadow. Had to turn around after 3000ft of climbing cause the boy had wetted through too many of his clothes.

great ride. first time in ages I’ve ridden more than 30 mi. can’t wait til fall when its not so warm.
STP was fun, I went pretty fast. Second day less than seven hours including stops.
