it wouldn't be tarck without a dyno thread

What’s the deal with the IQ-X connectors?

I don’t like the spades on the little dangly wires pinched between the case halves

there is no way to make it tidy, it’s a bad design. it’s fragile. they should have fixed mounting points under a removable cover

I too have a broken Cyo and I swear to dog I’m going to make a JP Weigle style hanging mount for it but first I need to lace up the dyno hub I have into a wheel.

Ah so it is the same as the Cyo then

it’s similar to the cyo premium but the cheap cyo is nicer in this one way

LYT ! I meant LYT

had to look it up

I’ve always wanted to make a carbon (or aluminum?) piece that is just holds a light out there. In theory you could make it follow the fork and wheel profile only, if you could solve for lateral play without it being super thick

Triangle won’t boing like a L

sans fender and rack

the fender was already there

So I may or may not be getting a cargo e bike. It may or may not still have a supernova m99 mini pro 45 attached to it. My question is wtf why is this light so expensive, I do not remember lights being so expensive.

Supernovas have always been on the stupid expensive side, so maybe they’re leaning in to their destiny?

Well, what should I buy that’s equivalent to this or better?

the IQ-X E is the generally great light for 12-60V DC

The iq x e seems only rated to 25kmh while the supernova goes to 45. I’m out on a ride so haven’t compared specs yet but I assume this means something.

Rated for 25kph when connected to a dynamo, yes? If it’s driven from a battery would it even care?

I dunno I assumed light output adequate for 45 vs 25 km/h as in you have to see further ahead. I don’t think you can connect an e light to a dynamo and vice versa? But I’ve not much idea about this stuff. There is also a 25kmh version of the supernova light.

I’m using mine on a 52v setup
