If the drill can take it without burning up, I’m into it.

Having trouble with the dimensions on the boxes

There was a trend a while back to put cordless drills in those Power Wheels kids cars. Some of them hauled ass.

I’ve seen a couple of drill powered bikes before. Also small boats. This bike looks the most convincing so far.

Top image is not so easy but 58x58x28 is clear on the second.

They don’t look 2:1 to me but pictures can be tricky

What are good current equivalents to the e-Dew? Flat bars, mid drive, on the sportier end of things.

Specialized Turbo Vado thing?

Grin hub on a dew

they make a dew with a hub motor why fuck around with a grin?

Then get that

Also I’m really happy with the all axle because the electric part isn’t stressing the drivetrain. I get the good torque sensing and I can treat the electric parts just like I do acoustic parts. Mixing and matching and swapping if necessary

This needs to be off the shelf ready to buy

Ready to buy is always harder to fix

People were complaining in my neighborhood bike chat about the brake pads wearing out less than 1000 miles on their cargo ebikes. I’m over here like “why brake when you have regenerative braking?”

Devinci just put out the Cartier and Orbea has the Diem.

That space is producing some interesting designs.

Felt I should add, I haven’t had a problem with mid drive on my cargo bike destroying my drivetrain (I ride it like a grandma) but brake pads are definitely super consumable lol
