does the $100+ increase seem worth it? i feel like people are going to upgrade the upgraded parts, and the geometry and tubing are identical to the kilo tt.

The tubing isn’t the same. Kilo TT is 4130 for the frame and fork. The Pro is 4130 on the fork, 520 on the frame.

It is, and 520 is what Reynolds calls their 4130 tubing. The BD guy was going to use a higher quality tubing but it would have only knocked off 50 grams, so he decided it wasn’t worth the extra cost.
That’s a nice deal. Looks like a lot better component group than the KHS Flite 100.

and the pro is great but my bike still is better.
Everybody seems to buy the stock Kilo and replace the wheels or crank immediately. At least this way you get some better stuff you probably would keep.
The Pro is definitely worth the price increase. The wheelset is worth $150 and the crank arms could be resold for $60.
I’m surprised he didn’t do an all black model and raise the price by 10 or 15%. He seemed really interested in doing that.
