Skinny frame tubes and beefy chainstays ok for me?

Should it be 148 or 142 rear

If it’s a road or gravel bike 142 all the way. Boost will just complicate things in a bad way.

Why isn’t there a 23.8 ispec adapter

There are dozens of us that want that kludge

There might just be enough engineers / machinists / 3D printers on this forum to make your dream a reality.

Ah. A modern stem shifter for the look of one of those carbon steel GMC-logoed “bicycles” that litter the $100 category on ebay.

My new fat tired cop mobile is this:
Basically steamroller geometry
44mm headtube
Fits 700x35 or 650x50
Track ends with movable lowmount disc tab
1 bottle cage
Searchlight/low trail fork
And instead of “fatties fit fine” its a decal that says “folks want options”
Maybe fenders maybe not

Bonus points if drawings are sent to Richard Sachs and he signs off on them, where the fine print says we put a sticker of his face on the seat tube ala Merckx or coppi or other famous cyclist bicycle brand owners

Place holder for an image of one of those decals if I can find it

this actually sounds like some good inspo to paint a bike up. The feelings of comradery + nostalgia, maybe add in some of the concessions we would likely give up to make others feel like we are participating correctly in their space?

Feel like it would be hard to avoid the seasonal yard flag vibes with that inspiration.

Next bike is going to be black, light black, or micro sparkle charcoal probably

All other inputs the same: (hta, rake, wheel/tire size, etc) what happens when you change A-C?

For instance, will a bike with a 370ac fork handle differently than a 385ac fork?
