all the details are kind of wonky like that tho
I like those little asymmetrical details (crown, “brake bridge”, seat tube top edge).
But that light mount on a custom rack?

Funny you mention that, I just had something almost identical put on my custom Orc Rack.

What’s the logic? Double-sided bracket-light interface less likely to vibrate loose? More compatible with future upgrades?
just curious why not have the arm built right into the rack?
It came down to ease of fabrication. I originally requested a forked lamp bracket that was integrated into the rack stay but then he suggested using one of the B&M mounts for a cheaper/faster/easier alternative. I couldn’t think of any real downsides other than the lamp rotating around the rack/bracket interface. I guess it could rotate into the tire if loosened. It doesn’t seem like it could suffer the fate of many dynamo lamp brackets where the cantilevered lamp can rotate around the mounting point using the lamp weight like this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/7516215@N03/8527098716/
We will see if it was a wise choice. I am leaving the entire thing unpainted until I finish a good shakedown.
Here is the rack for reference, it will have a IQ Cyo Premium not the edelux:

Slamback seat post is an odd choice for custom, too
Doesn’t look like Dynamo is even hooked up
I bet the customer requested teh frame be designed around that lugged Rivendell foppost
it’s the most expensive nitto, that’s why, heavy steel with an artisinal lug
also he didn’t trim the Paragon yoke so the chainstays are longer than needed for the STA
“What’s this,” I wondered.
huh. That doesn’t seem like the best or most economical way to make that?
Better than whatever else a small constructeur who lacks tooling will come up with.
Also, damn I didn’t realize how expensive that thing is! $185!
at ;least it’s not 3d printed
Hartley is a lady fyi
That thing is like the ultra-fop version of my slo-mobile.
Lol, slo-mobile looks fun too but less so now that I know how much Big Apples weigh
Pinch bolt thru axle rear? This axle shit has come full circle
Boost
Can someone asplain front center to me again
Distance from BB to front axle. Relates to how much proportion of your weight you get onto the front tire, mostly.
