That’s it?
Do I need to worry about kenda and tubeless?
not at all if you get SCT versions and don’t buy jackass fop rims
complete mtbs usually come with shitty OEM versions of good tires
I thought this thread was separated from the mtn bike thread specifically so that this kind of helpful advice could be avoided
Mig, you should get a hambiek.
noah, we’re about the same size. are you gonna ride a 17" or 18" frame?

Sorry. Have you called Waterford?
im sorry i didnt read past the first post
Now I can dive in when the mood strikes me.
:L
Well after brickphone.tumblr graced us with his fixie road bike Miguel’s bike might only be the second stupidest bike FTW builds.
The field of stupid ideas that haven’t been realized is getting pretty bare these days. After seeing a fatbike with aerobars and forward offset seatpost in the wild nothing really surprises very easily anymore.
So I’ve got stans flow ex rims I just need yellow tape and a valve?
Yeah. 25mm tape.
Building mtb wheels, what spokes? Normally I get DT comps f&r road, do I need something beefier? Again, trail and bumps, not taking huge jumps whatever
I built all my MTB and cross wheels with Comps. They will be fine.
Mig I ride a 17" with a bunch of post, makes the dropper happy
Mtb dq: I’ve tried L and XL and they both work ok? Is it like road bikes where a lil bit smaller is racy and bigger is ??? I guess the dq is a lil bigger or a lil smaller?
Also, any Tarck opinion on ritchey p29?
P29 is overpriced and underequipped. Salsa El Mar destroys it in design/value.
I feel like you’d have to REALLY want to ride a Ritchey to justify the pricing of all their modern bikes. Swiss Cross is cool, but not that cool, and is so spensive
