I have ordered a little black silicone pouch that I intend to adhere to the underside of my saddle. A thief wouldn’t see it very readily.
Generally, it takes a while for this to happen based on testing.

That reflector one is smart. It’s not particularly secure but nobody is going to mess with it.

Maybe, but you don’t want it wrapped in metal or carbon… The materials from which most steer tubes are constructed.

Here’s what I did:
$3 eBay thing:
Cleaned the underside of the saddle with acetone and popped it in there:
Spent half a second wondering how I’d find it if the adhesive failed…. Right.
Tested the range:
Just walking around my yard testing the range, it occurred to me that having a fair bit of range would be crucial if one wanted to recover their bike from a thief. I wouldn’t want to be roaming around someone’s house staring at my phone trying to figure out which direction my bike was.

Seems like a really well thought out bag and mount. I hope they come out with a larger one and ditch the hard plastic lid, some colors would be nice too.
