New & Interesting Bike Campenaerts

What’s the throw? Do they use the standard 37mm OD bearings or did they drop down a size to 32mm to get more eccentricity?

How much rotation? I’m not sure, but enough to tension the chain pretty easily. I don’t have the sample in front of me, but according to the drawings, they use the 37mm OD bearing.

I found the answer in some YouTube comments: +/- 2.9mm

This is a beautiful bike @igor, well done

I don’t think I’m online enough to understand that meme.

A guess from the nosebleeds

73/73
6-7deg tt slope
858 standard tubing (25.4 tt/28.6dt&st), 9/8 headtube (actually 34)
430x75 chainstay/drop
380ac, 51+ rake
Wishbone SS?

Those are 32mm tires but it fits 35

It’s like the Socratic method, but instead.of responding to questions with more questions, you respond to a question about a meme with another meme.

You’re close, but some key differences. I think the slope is correct (i dont have all the drawings in front of me), but the tubing on the small and medium get 25.4 8/5/8 TT, 28.6 8/5/8 DT, Large and XL get 25.4 8/5/8 TT, and 31.8 8/5/8 DT. HT is 9/8", ST is 29.8->28.6 1.2/.6/9. CS are 420, with tapers and dimples. 38s max, optimized for 28 & 32s

Seems too close in price to the real deal? Or am I way off? Isn’t there a $600 sram group?

Yeah. You can piece together a GX AXS Eagle kit and some Shimano brakes for not a whole lot more.

That’s better. Allegedly this is supposed to be $365 from the main site, but they’re not in stock or something… EDS – WheelTop

chinese folks started making new high end square taper BBs ?

slightly lighter than White Industries Ti for 15% of the price

the sleeve means it shouldn’t need adjustable preload with a lockring like WI, from there using the external cup tool interface was an inspired choice
