Moving on from brakes, I was recently disappointed to learn that Chinese carbon frame makers are not making XL ebike frames (biggest is L with 480 reach). I would absolutely have started building up one of these:

this one doesn’t say bike on it and is heavier but could be at your doorstep tomorrow. today depending on what time zone you’re in and how close you are to a warehouse. certainly heavier tho

Did people ever do this with qr’s? I have a vague memory of being able to do this with a qr.
Yes, with QR wheels the axle is the same threading as the gorilla mount so you can do it that way.

I just found this, which I had never come across before. It has quite a bit more detail on the growtac shifters. You need to put it in translate mode and it mostly makes sense. Except for the Thailand bit. Someone will have to explain that to me.
