New & Interesting Bike Campenaerts

Isn’t Fox’s whole thing all about being the OEM supplier for completes instead of being the aftermarket go-to? I doubt many people will be buying the $$$ dropper but soon your Tier 3 bikes will have one to complement the Fox fork and Fox shock, then a couple years later the V2 will be on the Tier 2 and 3 bikes.

You can look at specialized s-works bikes, and they were fox factory suspension, AXS shifting, and then AXS dropper because fox didn’t have one.
So, yeah, I imagine next year they will be oem on the top end builds and kashima will mostly match the forks.
Biggest thing is 200mm, though.
Shit also ain’t cheap at cost, right now. But maybe they will have a ton of stock left over and prodeal will get better like sram is now with GX and XX transmission.

Pretty quick retort from SRAM

If you live in richmond or south on the east coast in a metro area , it will get to your door faster if you order standsr shipping after 3pm rather than rush earlier in the day flr sme reason

but also we established that deraileur thread is 10x1 and mcmaster doesn’t have 10x1 to 12x1.5 or 15x1.5

after looking again i am sad to say i was wrong. but mcmaster still rules

This inspired me to go look at a bunch of exploded ergopower manuals to see if I could swap the left and right 10s ratchets and have an infinitely-ratcheting right and left shifter but after looking at the ratchets themselves it seems like the answer is ‘nah.’

yes they were already mirror images for a long time, pulling the same amount of cable per-click on both sides

GMBN did a test of the “Hope” brakes on AliX. tl;dw: comparable to the Code RS.

think the mains of the frame stay put and the sits tube thrusts fore and aft

kewl lookin’ joind

I look forward to this being made into a gif to accompany the redshift stem/seatpost

yeah I don’t think the linkage between top seat tube is rigid enough to call that a front triangle

was also not sure how the angles would work with a linear motion but

oh it’s not suspension, it’s a hardtail with adjustable STA

Isn’t that how the Specialized Future Shock chairpole works?

yeah but from what ppl be saying it sounds like this lever activates a SIT TUBE ANGLE DORPER so it’s adjustable STA and not back sus
