New & Interesting Bike Campenaerts

My money wasn’t on Canyon being the one to solve this. Going to try to route something similar on the Domane.

I guess the battery and BMS overcome the fluctuations associated with dynamo power but is the itch really worth the scratch here? Might help you charge your phone on Tour Divide I guess

it’s an all-in-one combination sinewave revolution and anker 3500 mAh backup battery built into the bike

seems well done

Check out these pins, shares complete pedal.

looks like a car wiring schematic and so ultimately repels me

but yeah, well done!

why threaded?

and why all of that machining? weight savings?
and how do they do that for $9?

The threads must make them grippier—grab the sides of your shoe tread lugs

They could have just gone the Crankbrothers route and used extra-long grub screws that thread through the entire platform.

Pretty clever

Press release from 2025…I never heard of that system (though I was never looking at new bikes during the last year so not unexpected). What happened with it?

Currently there are just a couple of discounted bikes available on their site with the system it seems.

Not necessarily new but does anyone want to fuck around and buy this
Edit aw shit looks like urban peloton is spam
Not sure if you remember but it’s from this:

Edit

376 AC

Cannondale has something similar

That is cool. I think the Canyon’s being dynamo-powered is what really made it interesting to me at least.

I tried to see if I could scoop any remaining guts of the system but they only have cable runs left for sale
