Probably with a completely different sram fluid.
Iâm looking forward to hydraulic clipless pedals
but seriously what happens when you lay it down or some turd in a race runs into you and bends it?
Youâre in a superfluous race, who cares?
You missed the truly funny new product listing on that page: DESCENT MASTER
Thatâs a Kickstarter fever dream if there ever was one
$400 so I can fall over in my basement. Awesome
Aside from the price it doesnât seem crazy
It probably doesnât do much that this doesnât do though:
Not trying to spend a bong to fix a slightly bent dangler all because theyâve eliminated the tailhook
I really hope someone from off-forum is trying to read that sentence and figure out what it means
What if a tailhook shaped object is integrated into the dangler such that it can be replaced just as easily as a tailhook while preserving the remainder of the dangler?
That descent master might be the dumbest novelty workout contraption I have ever seen, and thatâs a product category with some of the fiercest competition in face-melting inanity the world has ever seen. Man itâs so idiotic it hurts.
I think our jargon really fucks our SEO
btw anyone ever bought like a knock off one of these?
the bosu branded ones are kinda spendy (read as: i am extremely cheap, but kind of want one).
I have a very cheap wobble board, it wobbles and has thus far not broken. circle of varnished plywood, grip tape on top, little plastic half dome on the bottom. Like, 12 bucks off Amazon?
Recommended unless you have that big ball type thing in mind specifically
Couldnât you put a piece of wood on top of a foam roller and use that? Only 1 degree of freedom for wobblin though
The ball element is kinda the important part.
Trek mtb tail hooks are already part of the dropout (iâm sure plenty of others are too, i just happen to own a trek) and a lot of mtb tail hooks are already stiff as fuck. iâm not even that mad about this for some reason. lay your bike down and then you might need to buy a new dangler, but thatâs nothing new, even with a replaceable hanger. as fast as getting home- same rules apply, grab it with your hands, try to bend it back and find the gears that still work
Saint m800 had a thru axle rear hub that bolts directly to the rd with no hanger, they make a little tab that you change out for if you want to use horizontal or vertical derpouts. It didnât really catch on at the time but I have it and it works fuggin great
Oh hell yeah, my prayers have been answered.
Finally someone appears to be making halfway decent purple bar tape in a couple thicknesses. Probably trying one of these when the Deda tape finally falls apart.
HY I want it for the Endpoint, I tried to find hi-vis purple but could only get pink.
