yeah, about $750 with shipping. don’t count on the 5-7 days thing or atleast email to make sure they have your size on the peg…
they have slack head angles and lots of rake though.

yeah :frowning:
they are gorgeous frames though.
I dont know what they start at for custom though, I would really like one with steeper headtubes and more traditional tight geometry.

Those Bob jackson frames look nice. Are there any specs for geometry or other measurements besides the ST? And arguably more custom than an imported NJS frame. I wouldn’t change anything about my frame.

yeah, some people just fit those frames. I dont think I would, I have a pretty long torso, which makes fitting tee shirts and track bikes a bitch.
I have often considered selling my bareknuckle and riding my road bike for a while and building up a nice custom frame, but I cant justify that until I find a way to ride track some. As is the bareknuckle is too nice for my needs though I love it.

heres my old bike i liked for about a year

until

^^^Holy shit! That bike is sexy as hell! How did that break happen?

they have really badass paint. that’s for sure.
their geometry is pretty much square i think, which is fine for most.
for the 22" frame the seat angle was 75*, head angle 73*, rake 40mm. it’s like a road bike with high bb and steeper seat angle…

i just rode it like a normal brakeless track bike on the street
no wheelies no freestyling
just mashing and skips hops skids

i weigh 195
and it was built for a japanese keirin racer to ride on a track
not for me to ride on the streets

its ok though now i have this which is what i should of bought in the first place
instead of wasting money on that used bridgestone

Wow, even hotter! That looks like some serious toe overlap though! Is that a completely custom build? How tall are you? I am 5’11’’ and ~150 lbs.

it has a lot of toe overlap
no big deal really once used to it
it is fully custom
i’m 5 10

I saw a Waterford road frame yesterday that had quite a bit of customization done to it, the rear chainstay was so short the seat tube had to be dimpled to fit a 23c tire, even then it just barely cleared. All of the brazeons were in pretty odd places, the front clearence was similar to that Yamaguchi. It was very strange for a road bike.

Oh and generally Bob Jackson lead time on off the peg frames is about 5 months, not 5-7 days, unless they magically have your size/color combo sitting around. I know over the winter it was projected at 6-7 months for non-custom work.

Quit posting this stuff, you jerks make me want to drop a bunch of cash and start going done to the track and actually riding there.
I hate y’all.

I don’t care about riding on the track. I want a Yamaguchi to hang on my wall and stare at.

I want a Yamaguchi so bad.

their site says 5-7 days if they have it in stock, thats the only time projection I saw.
