160 isn’t too much for where you are. I miss my 160 fork. Nothing wrong with coil except that it weighs more.
i also have a Norco optic c1 and it’s amazing. if I could get one at a discount I would do that immediately
The obvious solution is to buy both the sick carbon bike and the coil bike.

I am saving for a new bike and am getting close to being able to start actually looking.
Do I want a road bike (that can take 32s and fenders) or do I want a gravel bike that will mostly be ridden on the road? I currently have a 2017 Niner RLT that could serve as a gravel bike, but it’ll always feel like a tank compared to whatever new thing I get.
Currently looking at a Fairlight Strael 3.0.

Night Moves or Strael would be my vote. Both have tire clearance for occasional gravel and look like they’d be a blast to ride on pavement. Cannondale Synapse would be on my short list too if something comes up on sale. Standert Triebwerk maybe too but it’s pricey and I’m not sure about fender mounts.
