Post your Dirty Jumper

not bad, i paid 300 new/shipped. wish i had found that though

what movie? :colbert: (im a noob or somethin)

thanks snails, that’s what i needed to know. how do you like it so far?

I assume that tallbike is to be ridden on the track.

It needs deep drops.

Both of my brothers are riding bikesdirect Windsor Hours and they came with threaded forks.

Yeah it was just a fluke, I had looked for a bike to convert forever, and just stumbled upon this one. It was brand new, and turned out that the guy didn’t want to ride fixed cause he had a big hill on the way to work (?).

It must be a new thing, along with the fsa cranks that they advertise now. Mine was apparently before that. When I painted it (took the whole thing apart as soon as I bought it, horrible initial build quality), I found that the fork was machined too small for the crown race! I also had to file down the track ends to make it so the axle could slide in and out.

Hopefully at least the fork issue is gone along with the new threadless headsets.

I cringed when he did the leg ovar the bar skid on his video

[quote=“K_Phomma”][quote=“VT tallbike”]not mine but I built it for him.

is there a video?? that’d be awesome to watch

i like it. It’s the first fixed i’ve owned, and its the highest geared one i’ve riden. I ride a friends, and his is around 2:1, and this is 3:1 so it’s a little tougher to slow down, skid, hills…

But i really like it, and the hauling down of hills

well, if they still sell it with the threadless headset, i’m gonna buy it. if it’s that ugly quill stem, no dice. i’ve already got a nice threadless fork waiting for a bike with black components. i wish they’d hurry up and email me back. when did you order yours?

here’s mine all upgraded and sheite.

Yes I do know the bike is too small. Sometime soon I will be building a new wheelset for it. It will be getting Superbe Pro 32h track hubs laced to DT Swiss RR 1.2 silver rims. I’m trying to find out how hard it is to remove the decals before I go with the rim though.

Is your fork backwards or am I retarded?

:colbert: :bear: :colbert:

No, it’s just a semi-bladed fork which looks kind of funky. It looked better with the steel fork that came with the bike but that weighs 3-4lbs while the full carbon EC90 is MUCH lighter.
