Should I feel bad for enjoying Lance’s post stage live show?
I just listened to it for 30s and heard him badmouthing someone, don’t know who, for hiding behind a lie instead of coming forward. Fuck that guy. He has no cedebility in my eyes.
Also, is he wearing an anti-stages shirt? Or is that the logo of something different?
Stages is the name of his daily stage recap podcast. I’ve have been hate-listening daily.

A podcast would be cool, but Lemond has an actual legit gig doing highlights on Eurosport. Lance is still looking for something in which to rebrand himself especially ahead of and after the federal case goes to trial this fall. No fucks given listening to his show. If I never had to hear Phil and Paul again I’d not mind him doing US broadcast commentary. If he runs for political office or regains any power then fuck no.

^ yeeah, frankly I find it alarming that lance with all the great pain and misery he’s caused is still involved with pro cycling. the sponsors from his le tour days are long gone, he’s generally disliked by the pro peloton and is an unwelcome presence at le tour. I don’t know what to make of it really, I guess if there’s a place in the sport for cheats like jonathan vaughters, bjarne riis, alexander vinokourov and countless others then in time there’ll be a place for him as well?
as for his Stages podcast I like how he discussed the incident in detail in ways that weren’t covered by journalists. his candor is refreshing

one of my favorite digs from yesterday’s Stages podcast was him going on a tangent about a mother who wrote in to complain about his use of swear words. He joked about taking up a collection jar to pay for his swear words and said something to the effect of, “When we’re done here, I’ll mail it [the jar] to you USPS so maybe it will get to you in a year or so…”
