really bad handlebar/lever setups itt

She asks “How big are those wheels?”
“Uh, a bit smaller than yours”
“…you mean 650s?”
:bear:

Damn. Those bars are bad but that frame is badass!
Belongs to a girl on sffixed who should know better.

She’s super teeny and that’s probably the only way she can reach the hoods.

Custom bike fail.

oldbabe
all she gotta do is rotate them bars down
move levers up the bars
retape
sheeeeyit

but then again…it looks like she going for a perfectly flat transition from bars to hoods
you don’t get that shit with reenactment levers and still have a decent angle on yr hoods

ps if she did that the reach to the hoods would most likely be shorter

^Person probably rides 90% in the drops.

:colbert:

Pretty common bar angle for cyclocross. I don’t get it, but to each his own.

there’s nothing wrong with the bars. levers are a little low. this whole thread is really reaching.
except prolly. his bars are terrible.

yeah levers too low. this thread is all about reaching

:colbert:
+1. I understand the bar angle, but them hoods need to get on upah

Bad handlebar/lever combos is why I switched to risers. Mediocre all the time!

Wasn’t sure if I should post this here or in the “Bike Parts that Exist But You Wish Didn’t” but this thread was easier to find:

Saw an ad on Facebook for Back Up Bars which asked, “Bike enthusiasts! Do you love to bike?”

Being a bike enthusiast who also happens to love biking, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to click through.

SLAM THAT STEM met his match

Other than the bar angle, this bike is pretty much perfect. How many times has this bike been up here?

that bike is awful.

Are you fucking kidding me?

You’re right, it just needs some Back Up Bars and it would be perfect.
