What production road bikes have you ridden that you absolutely loved the way they handled? How would you characterize the ride? What size and year is the frame?
I’m just nerdy enough to spend my day making spreadsheets.

2009 caad 9 in size 58 handles like a bike should, for me.
^ i have 2 friends on those and they really likey
also see spooky skeletor
I’ve never ridden a production road bike.
Real into CAAD9 for carving lines down descents. But it’s all a matter of fit. Weight between front and rear wheel and all that…
The Felt F4 SL.
My klein quantum. 1992, 51seat/53tt, 1 inch threadless headset. Stiff yet forgiving, it lets me overtake cars on corners around the outside, using gatorskins. I think it’s because I am super heavy and this bike has a low centre of gravity. Shame I have to get rid of it.
Colnago Extreme Power 2008ish (Colnago C geo has been the same for a while) 54cm standard
Urgently planeing
Hands down the absolute most nicest perfect riding thing I’ve ever pedaled
fuck a Pinarello
weird
i was under the impression colnagos were low dog on the high zoot carbon bike totem pole. like just above house brands
This should be everyone’s goal.

Your impression is kind of weired atmo, no offence and love you long time. A frame that costs 4 fancy glass bongs that’s actually still *manufactured in Italy is a few steps above house brands.
*yes I know that some Colnagos are now being made in Taiwan but those ones don’t say “made in Italy” anywhere on them
Time.
I miss mine. Love the Cannondale for sure but there was something really unique about the way the Time took corners.
haha right on
also if i ever make frames, my website will be priced in fancy bongs
Pegoretti Duende. It’s the best handling bike I’ve ever ridden. It’s easy to adjust a line midcorner at 40mph with my hands or hips.
Trek Madone. Seriously. My Lynksey Helix road frame rides awesome, too.
My Guru team bike when it comes in.
Which Guru? The Evolo was actually one of the worst riding bikes I was ever on; it had a speed wobble at twenty miles an hour. The internal cable routing is horrendous, and the bike simply refused to ever shift correctly due to all the drag their poor design created. And you have to take the fucking cranks off to change a cable. The Photon seemed much more reasonably designed, despite being a featherweight carbon wünderbike.
