Say it ain't so: The Assploded Bike Parts Picture Thread.

I miss their leather capped saddles.

If you want a flat/flat profile, it’s hard to beat Ergon.

Expensive little things. Maybe I’ll try them after I win the lottery.

I got a women’s Ergon for my partner’s mountain bike. She seems to like it. It has a cut out bit in the middle other than that it looks the same as a mens.

I went wild with the new Aliantes awhile ago, and while it’s the least visually impressive, I think the Versus Evo is the best of the bunch. Not as warm as the normal one and good taint relief. The older VSX is also good but weirdly thick for how stiff the padding is and quite ugly. IIRC the Open model seemed really hard. I didn’t use it much since the normal one felt better. I’ll have to retry it at some point.

SQ who is H2 in this case? I have a cambium that I’ve ridden for a couple years that has some stretching in the canvas near the nose rivet, no cracking yet but if there’s a chance they warranty it then I am curious (didn’t buy mine from a dealer tho)

Highway2. The primary importer for all things Selle Royal (brooks, fizik) as well as Kask and Continental.

Thanks, looks like I am probably out of Brooks warranty period anyway :grimacing:

I like the Volta about as much as i like the Arione, but that puts me in a very exclusive club. That saddle was in their lineup for as many as thirty seconds; if it weren’t currently attached to my parts bin townie, even I would hesitate to believe that Fizik made a carbon fiber taco shell, glued some rails to it, and then sold it as a bike saddle. It’s like an april fools day prank.

Does H2 have the Selle Royal New Ellipse in stock yet?

Brooks warranty is 2 years or 10 years if you register the product.

hot dog! I think i registered mine when I got it.

broke my damn shoe (shimano xc5) within hours of saying it was great :frowning:

Almost makes the claim more true. It /was/ great, but less so now.

I guess it planes now

Replacement research begins

kona has a lifetime frame replacement warranty for original owner. If its less than 3 years old they might just replace it?

So the chainstays are canopenering the seattube at the edge of the welds? That’s impressive in a kind of terrifying way.

Unfortunately I’m not the original owner. Bought the frame new, but secondhand.

Know anybody at a Kona dealer nearby?
