I’m 37 and Ryan is like five(?) years younger than me.

date code on the crank puts it at June 1991, right on the 30 year mark

It’s a common enough part that I’ll be replacing it for sure

I’m starting to feel a bit bummed that all the cool frames and stuff from the 80s and 90s that were so cheap and easy to find in the early 2000s is starting to be either broken or expensive.

M730s and the good suginos aren’t $20 on eBay anymore.

When I need motorcycle parts, I’m finding the same thing. Used to be able to find tons of cheap parts for my 1983 Honda since so many ended up wrapped around trees, but now the prices are finally coming back up

I’m 26 so a lot of these bike parts around here are in trouble y’all

It’s great not being the youngest person in a group. Thanks @Gary_the_tennis_ball and @Alvz for being born after me!

Cripes. Even my kids are older than you guys. Where can I go to talk about hearing aids and hip replacements?

I’m 31. I was one of the youngest people on Tarck for a bit. I couldn’t drink legally when I joined.

I leaned my bike against the work stand and thought ‘I should really hang my bike in the stand before it falls o…’ as my bike falls over and jams the bars around the post of the work stand and tearing the hood?

I’ve never had to buy new hoods before, last time I looked into it a decade ago all the aftermarket ones were trash, that still the case?

No, but they are all Pink, or white.

They are trash. Get the OE Sram ones.

Yea, figured. Thanks dudes.

I hit them with some cyanoacrylate, hopefully it holds them together until I can get new ones. If not, I kinda want new shakes anyways. Anyone holding Force/Red 22 mechanical jawns?
