We stopped selling them cause noone was buying them and the MOQs were v high. We’d be sitting on 5 yrs worth of stock lol
If I were you, I’d destroy the cup. I mean, it’s either destroy and be successful or destroy and fail (and you were talking about throwing the frame away anyway).

we’re out here but i can see that we would be pretty rare

Yeah, most frames come outta the box with no threads these days. Maybe I should order one from @igor Incase the one in my GB needs replacing down the road.

Yeah I can’t get the other side out either Igor. I wonder if I snotted the axel hard enuff it would bust through, and I could poke a hacksaw in there ? But then I guess i’d have to cut thru the fecking bearings too.
the kerf from the cut is enough to reduce the circumference of the cup, they’ll have rom to break loose and escape the confines

Dropped it off at Oli’s place at lunch. He’s got a workshop/ museum 3 kms from my house. I know he has a giant bar welded to a campy BB tool, but he may have hit it with some PB Blaster first. Not got the run-down yet.

Looks like the other cup came out with non-destructive coercion and they smashed the innards out that direction. Pretty much the only good thing about square taper bottom brackets that are NOT UN2x/UN5x is that you can usually get away with this.
