I don’t get the 27.2 post. There’s at least one person who wants to put a dropper on that.

There are some 27.2 options out there…some

it’s 2019 already

With the 27.2 post, they’re basically screaming THIS IS AN XC BIKE, FOR XC RACING, and still some people can’t hear it.

eh 27.2 straight post isn’t difficult to find

Yeah, they wanted low weight and a bendy post for the tiniest bit of flex for comfort. If you ain’t racing, get a Chameleon. Oh wait, belopsky already has one of those…

I’m not sure if this is visible with my phone camera, or not. I undertorqued one of the pinch bolts and had the crank arm slip while on a test ride. When I finally managed to remove it (my cranks had gone 90deg), there were filings all inside the splines.

This is the second one I’ve wrecked this year. My road one died from water ingress. :frowning: RIP in pieces, little power friends.

Rest In Power :zap:

I know that feel :disappointed:

Wrecked some sugino oxes last year

Yep, that’s borked.

At least they can probably fix your road one: once the splines are toast it’s toast.

My cambium died

And that’s one of the weatherproof ones, isn’t it?

Yep that’s what they do im afraid. The cambium just isn’t a very good product imo.

Mine has been showing those signs for a year now, but it hasn’t progressed

I’m kind of surprised that there isn’t anyone doing replacement tops for those things, given that Brooks can’t be bothered to even warranty the things.
