because shimano won’t warranty a crank that had the front fall off. i’ll bet a real but not large amount of dollars on that. let’s call it $20. whoever wins, it goes to any organization that helps accommodate abortions

no. nobody will buy it. but it will keep being on ebay as a clear example of how dumb it is. this isn’t the first time this has happened but i can’t remember the other examples. it is listed purely out of spite
edit: shimano 9000/6800 and maybe to a lesser extent newer generations (@EndpointBraden might have better details) cranks split in half at/because of the glue line. shimano has not issued a recall and in some/many cases does not warranty. i’ll bet anything this is a protest because that thing sure as fuck split in two and nobody in their right minds would put it back together that way with the intent of using it. even most of bike redd it is smart enough not to do that
