Anybody sitting on some thumbie mounts? The ones I have seem to be for 25mm bars? WTF is that about?
Took my bike to a new shop because my Rival 1 brake levers feel like crap. Instead of charging me for a bleed, they said that they’re working as well as they should and that they’re just generally crappy feeling.
So now I want to upgrade them.
Does anyone have a pair of force 11s hydro levers that could swap in for these? I haven’t been able to find things online that don’t involve buying the calipers as well.
i have some force 22 levers that i haven’t installed after three years. one caliper needs a rebuild though. i tell myself i’ll get around to it but it’s kind of a project that is keeping me from building my endpoint
Can the left lever be modded to work a dropper? I think that’s what makes this group special I think.
afaik yes. i haven’t tried it because i have a firm belief that curly bars are 2x and flat bars are 1x. someone more currently working on bikes than me could confirm though

How many speeds? Or doesn’t matter because friction? I have some pay it forward 8s barends since Fred gave me 10s ones. Also probably various downtube ones if you want.
Is the shifter core removable on the 105s?
Any shifter core is removable if you believe in yourself.
