I think the stem on the MTB is 35 long. Bontrager 35 clamp and 1 1/8 steerer. Could be interested in a trade, reach is slightly short so a 50 would help. Can get pics tomorrow

Race Face has a 32 mm. That’s like 1.2 mm between the bar and steerer.

I tried the 32mm on a spur I felt was too large. I think maybe stack wasn’t high enough because it didn’t love it. Actually, I also tried it on the s5 enduro and then just moved down to s4 size and 50mm stem.
But I did have some success when I had my first longer enduro bike, the jekyll with 495 reach and a 35mm stem. I didn’t measure how far it was from steerer, and didn’t care that much. Plus it was purple and felt good.

35mm stems are stupid for trail riding. Makes the bars too stiff.
