I’m keeping the basket.

so it has a campground, but also a venue space, I suppose what I meant was, not an outdoor only spot.
I understand your confusion, Im trying to keep up myself.
Anyone have a line on an affordable apartment/studio or roomshare in Seattle? Asking for mid-20’s female.

I also know of one in Greenlake/Ravenna area. $800ish.

I’m purging bike stuff, and also a couple of backpacks, dry bags, some furniture and household items, etc.
Feel free to stop by early if you want to leave a bike or some stuff to sell, make sure and mark it with name and price, etc.
Also, please come buy my stuff. Sorry no prices yet will be priced as we place it all out Sunday morning.
Some very cheap/free. Much realistic but still cheap. One or two things priced to not actually sell but say I tried.
Nishiki Ariel 22" elevated chainstay splatter paint frame-fork. Excellent paint.
Miyata Terra Runner frame+fork 1989, 22.5" size tall head tube would make a great drop-bar 26er. Frame is lugged, fork is unicrown.
2004 Kona Explosif frameset, has sliding dropouts so can be uses SS. Steel, 22"(or thereabouts) size. Has headset. Disc or rim brake.
Kona steel P2 disc brake fork 26" non-suspension corrected.
Rocky Mountain steel MTB frame with disc tabs added. Nice frame but I forget which model (used to be Alex Wetmore’s project) about a 18" size I need to measure. beat up black paint.
GT Avalanche older rim brake ball burnished frame with Manitou fork. 26er converted to SS with floating cog. Or buy a derailleur and turn it back into geared, whatever. $cheap.
Burly Rock-N-Roll Tandem. Almost complete bike. TWO STUCK SEATPOSTS! Otherwise a nice base for a fat-tired 26" wheeled tandem. Steel.
Older M700 series deore drivetrain bits (cranks, brakes, shifters, derailleurs, wheels).
Very nice RaceFace Turbine square taper 110 bcd cranks, black.
Ritchey 94 bcd square taper crank good for low-ish Q wide range double.
Loose chainrings.
Some 9-speed era MTB stuff.
BB7 brakes.
BB7 road brakes.
SRAM road drivetrain stuff.
Mavic Crossmax SL disc brake tubeless 26" wheelset. (older but has AL spokes, machined rims, etc.)
Random 26" rim brake wheels.
A few tires.
Dynamo wheelsets:
700C alfine front, Shimano XT rear, salsa disc-specific something rims. All black.
26" SRAM dyno front, Shimano Deore rear (disc hubs) to Rhynolite rims. Rims are black with machined but unused brake track so could be rim or disc brake bike.
Front platform racks:
Velo Orange porteur, Civia Pizzeria, Specialized porteur (not the current pizza rack this is much different).
Tubus Logo rear rack.
Fenders -various aluminum full fenders.
Older Yakima Steelhead roof-rack trays. Very cheap make them go away. (have 2 or 3 of these).
Used wool shirts.
A couple of pairs of casual-styled clipless bike shoes.
Random duplicate tools I own.
Other:
K2 external frame backpack. Big bad load hauler.
Sewing Machine: Sears Kenmore. Straight or zigzag only, but also have buttonhole attachment. Runs like…well you know. Pretty robost old machine good for basic projects.
KitchenAid Mixer: the classic badass kitchen mixer.
Drill press power head. i.e. the top important part, but needs a post and base and such. Otherwise works fine.
Legos: Look, I don’t usually get rid of Lego that’s just not how it works but if there is something specific you want or are looking for doesn’t hurt to ask.
Damn.
Anyone riding the Volcano high pass/bq unmeeting? I got a ticket up to see some family and will probably be on the ride
I’m gonna be bikeless in rochester ny for a wedding
If someone is driving down Saturday night, I might be interested, but I work Saturday, so probably not.
Aw beans, I’m gonna be in the Adirondacks that weekend riding a pukebacking route I put together. Lemme know if you end up with a bike and need some ride ideas.
i’m in rochester ny and i’m not bikeless. i know you are very tall though.
[quote=Larry Winget]Speaking of shitty hills, does anybody want to ride some variation of this on the 28th? Family will be out of town and I want ride the bikes and drink the beers.

Hard to believe this was a year ago, but it was a rad ride and good time. Anybody want to do it (or similar route, I don’t have a better one) on the 23rd of this month? I know cross is starting up so willing to be flexible on dates. Mainly just had an awesome time then and want to recreate the good vibes.
If it could be moved to a Sunday, I’d be interested.
Talk to me about Vashon
Vashon island is a drumlin formed during the Vashon stade of the fraser glaciation when the Cordilleran ice sheet covered the Puget lowland with approximately 3000 feet of ice. The terrain formed during the previous glaciation and interglacial was covered and excavated by pre-glacial outwash and subglacial meltwater, as the ice sheet was melting the entire time it covered the area. There are fault traces on the southern end of the island suggesting that the Tacoma fault has moved after the island was deposited/formed. Vashon was not always an island: before the holocene sea level rise but after the isostatic rebound from the melting ice, the island would have been connected to the Kitsap peninsula just to the west. After sea level rise, the island has living things on it, including trees, domestic critters, wild critters, humans, and plenty of moss and fungus.
Awesome. So are there any cool tea shops there?
Make note: We’re talking terrain, not terrane.
Though Vashon might be a part of Wrangelia, perhaps.
Vashon has the lowest vaccination rate in the state.
