RH pulled our account without warning.
Andrew (sales rep?) straight up lied and said they did it to all accounts cus covid.
Wouldn’t answer emails when asked why we were singled out.
When I reached out to Jan via FB he blew it off as “I don’t know, maybe MAP violation?”
We never violated MAP to my knowledge and if we did miss a price increase it was never brought to our attention.
Jan refused to reply when I disputed that.
So when they got sued a year and a half later I lold and talked shit to them in the comments on bicycle industry news.
Jan tried to double down on the MAP thing and I called him a liar and a hack.
Fuck Jan. Fuck Andrew. And Fuck Rene Herse.

Me too. I still don’t know the root cause of the above beef.
Obviously I have never met or interacted directly with him, but JH strikes me as the kind of person that would invent beefs or assume others are out to get him. He wants to be an iconoclast, which sorta implies having lots of detractors.
Anyway, I’d happily pay for/watch a Channel 5 style piece about the bike industry
