impressive. i’ve never put reg sealant into tubes. the finish line has worked so well and lasted so long that i just haven’t bothered. i’ve pulled out legs of staples that i wore the flat top off of, and feel good just adding some air if theres a flat and i need to ride across north philly
i think they missed their chance to try to supplant slime and set their sights wrong on tubeless

Yeah they haven’t cut new tools for tires that existed before the rebrand; my brand-new Rat Trap Passes also have “Compass” molded onto them.
That said, on RTPs the info is embossed into the tan sidewall, so it wouldn’t be a tool-safe change to remove the logo. On yours the logo is debossed, so it would be trivial to just polish the “COMPASS” off the mold…
After all my shit talking, thanks to Braden’s FU Jan sale, I’m forced to admit that this is a fuckin nice tire.
No weeping or seeping, set up with a floor pump. I did a real tidy job of retaping with three wraps.

My dislike of Jan far outweighs my enjoyment of any tire.
i have solved this problem by just never buying his stupid tires so i don’t know how good they are
i have the same strategy with drugs, i figure if i just don’t do them i won’t know what i’m missing
in conclusion: dare to say no to jan tires.
in fact, i would wear that as a tshirt

That has been suggested to me on youtube, but I wasn’t going to watch it with no idea what it was or who it was. But 21 minutes would be great if it showed all of the punctures.

My foray into 3d printing has already taught me that I will have plenty of scrap PLA. Been thinking about pulverizing it for use as the chunks in my homemade tire sealant. Bad idea or terrible idea?
