I can think of three people in this thread who should just get new road bikes. (I’m one of them.)
I hope it’s not me, because I already have a CAAD 10 f&f that’s just been sitting in a box for about five years now.
The most sensible thing to do in this situation is to start a tarckbear tubeless rim goup buy.
Heath, it’s you, me and Will.
We should just group buy a timeshare caad13
I have the r460 on two bikes and they’re good rims
hey its me, interested party.
tzusing, if you’re still out there, come back. lets update that rim
Didn’t @igor already do that for you?
it doesnt have a bear knocking over a trash can does it
I can make stickers if that appeases the tarckgods
Nah, we need a laser etched aluminum badge over the valve stem.
Geez.
Buy enough and i’ll make anything you want
carbon hoops? you gonna take VO into the crabon future?
is no fewer than 6 rims enough? you could guarantee we would buy at least 0-6 rims from you. what’s the opposite of vaporware?
Holy crab, nextie premium-27mm - 260 grams
Solidware
Hey Todd. We have been using Gorilla Tape in MTB wheels and it’s been working well. If you pull slowly there’s less residue left on the rim, but this can be wiped away with acetone on a rag real easy. The good thing about Gorilla Tape is the price and it does a good job ( with limitations ) but one issue we have had with Gorilla tape is that it does lift and shift if you are fitting and removing tight tyres often. This is why we are developing our own rim tape. I Would be really interested in hearing from folks about what they look for in a rim tape and what they have found to work really well. I am from an MTB background so any knowledge from other backgrounds would be brill. Cheers Jon
What the hell is going on here?
Thanks for the mic drop, newb. Get thee to the FNG thread for some mild hazing and so we can see your bikes.
Man, fuck that wall of text. Let’s see a garage door as a background to your stupid bike.
